Friday Night Finishing

Friday Night Finishing is a program for Goal scorers! This program is open to ALL MonU players (Competitive and Rec) U08-U16 (birth years 2015 through 2007) and will focus on the technique of ball striking and finishing.  This is a 5-week program that begins on Friday, September 16th and ends on Friday, October 21st  **There is NO SESSION on Friday, October 7th.**  Cost is $60/player and sessions will be held at Kenas/Windlestrae fields, 1147 Kenas Road, North Wales.

5:00-5:50pm - U08 to U11 (Birth Years 2015, 2014, 2013, & 2012)

6:00-7:00pm - U12 to U16 (Birth Years 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008, & 2007)

**Players should wear cleats, and remember to bring a soccer ball and something to drink.**

U07/U08 Academy Program

The Academy is designed to provide quality development for the Clubs most motivated and committed under 7 (U07) and under 8 (U08) soccer players.  All players born in the years 2016 and 2015 are eligible for this program, including all players in our U08 Rec program.  This program is intended for those children more seriously focused on soccer, and for players (and parents) who are willing to make a stronger commitment to prioritizing development above the social aspects of youth soccer.  It serves as a "bridge" program to U08 and U09 Travel, although participation in U07/U08 Academy does not guarantee or require participation in U08/U09 Travel.  This is a 6-week program and runs for the Girls, Tuesday, September 20th through October 25th and for the Boys, September 21st through October 26th.  Cost is $75/player.

 

The program offers several unique benefits:
-A developmentally-appropriate curriculum with a heavy emphasis on individual technique, created and taught by licensed, professional coaches.

-Girls are Tuesday training from 5:45pm-6:45pm at Kenas/Windlestrae Fields.

-Boys are Wednesday training from 5:45pm-6:45pm at Kenas/Windlestrae Fields.

-Practices, games, and potential crossover games at no additional fee.


**Players should wear cleats, shin guards, and remember to bring a soccer ball and something to drink.**

2022 MonU Masters Golf Outing

Join us for the 2022 MonU Masters Golf Outing on Friday, October 14th at Lederach Golf Course in Harleysville.  Registration and lunch will begin at 11:00am, followed by a Shotgun Start at 12:30pm.  After golf, join us for prizes and awards under the Veranda.  Beer and a cash bar will be available for the duration.  Cost is $160 per golfer, and includes green fees, golf cart, one hour on golf range, lunch, beer, and a day of fun.  Scramble format.  Prizes will be awarded for the Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and others.  Don't forget to add your MonU Masters Package (Mulligan, Re-Putt, Sand Grenade, and Move Your Ball), and tickets for the Putting Contest and our Prizes & Gift Baskets to your cart during Player Registration.

2022 Fall Rec Registration

2022 Fall Rec Info - (Birth Years 2018 through 2004, Boys and Girls)

Welcome to 2022 Fall Rec at MonU!

This is a program for beginners to experienced players, from birth years 2018 through 2004.  The goal of Fall Rec is to offer players the chance to enjoy the game in a fun, learning, and social environment.  We need Coaches for ALL teams so please help out by volunteering to Coach!

 

Fall Rec In-house, U05/U06 - U07/U08 (Birth Years 2018-2015):  These teams will have a NEW FORMAT!!  Weeks 1-3 will consist of twice a week training/practice on (1) weeknight (as determined by your age group listed below) and on Saturdays at Spring Valley Park fields.  All the practices/training sessions are being moved to the beginning of the season to allow for more game days (kids want to play!)  A Club Trainer/Trainers and volunteer coaches will lead the first 3 weeks of sessions with skill lessons and instruction.  Then all sessions after the first 3 weeks will be games.  Teams will start the week of August 22nd and the season will end with a round robin tournament (3-4 shortened games in one day). U05/U06 tournament will be held on Saturday, October 15th (game times TBD) and the U07/0U8 tournament will be held on Saturday, October 22nd (game times TBD).  Rain date is October 29th.  All players will need a Size 3 ball, soccer cleats, and shin guards.  Teams will be formed after registration closes on August 8th.  A team shirt, shorts, and socks will be provided.  There are NO sessions on Saturday, September 3rd or Monday, September 5th (Labor Day Weekend).  

Age groups will be as follows:

  • U05/U06 Girls (Birth Years 2017 & 2018) - Location Spring Valley Park, Practices on Mondays 6:00-7:00pm, Games on Saturdays 9:00-10:00am.  Games are 4v4 play.  Cost is $150. Starts August 22nd and ends October 15th.
  • U05/U06 Boys (Birth Years 2017 & 2018) - Location Spring Valley Park, Practices on Tuesdays 6:00-7:00pm, Games on Saturdays 10:30-11:30am.  Games are 4v4 play.  Cost is $150. Starts August 23rd and ends October 15th.
  • U07/U08 Girls (Birth Years 2015 & 2016) - Location Spring Valley Park, Practices on Wednesdays 6:00-7:00pm, Games on Saturdays 12:00-1:00pm.  Games are 7v7 play with breakout lines, Coaches Ref.  Cost is $150. Starts August 24th and ends October 22nd. (No games on October 15th)
  • U07/U08 Boys (Birth Years 2015 & 2016) - Location Spring Valley Park, Practices on Thursdays 6:00-7:00pm, Games on Saturdays 1:30-2:30pm.  Games are 7v7 play with breakout lines, Coaches Ref.  Cost is $150. Starts August 25th and ends October 22nd. (No games on October 15th)

 

Fall Rec League Play, U09-U19 (Birth Years 2014-2004):  **CHANGES MADE TO AGE GROUPS AS OF 8/3/2022** SEPA League made late changes to ages groups for the Fall season. See below for New age group breakdown. These teams will play in the SEPA League and travel locally to play against other Clubs.  Weekday practices (1 or 2 days/week) are determined by the Coaches and will be at Zehr Tract, Rose Twig Park, and/or Spring Valley Park fields.  Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays at local fields.  Teams will be formed after registration closes on August 8th.  All players will need a ball, soccer cleats, and shin guards.  A League jersey must be ordered (no additional cost) during registration and will be used for the Fall season and the Spring season 2022-2023 year (Please order with that in mind for sizing!).  The Fall season consists of a minimum of 8 league games (4 home games, 4 away games).  There are NO games on Saturday, September 3rd or Sunday, September 4th.  We need Coaches for ALL teams so please help out by volunteering to Coach!

The age divisions for the 2022/23 season are as follows:

  • U09/U10 Girls (birth years 2013 & 2014) - Games are 7v7 play with breakout lines, 1 Referee.  Cost $165
  • U09/U10 Boys (birth years 2013 & 2014) - Games are 7v7 play with breakout lines, 1 Referee.  Cost $165
  • U11/U12 Girls (birth years 2011 & 2012) - Games are 9v9 play, 1 Referee.  Cost $165
  • U11/U12 Boys (birth years 2011 & 2012) - Games are 9v9 play, 1 Referee.  Cost $165
  • U13/U14/U15 Girls (birth years 2008, 2009 & 2010) - Games are 11v11 play, 1 Referee system.  Cost $165
  • U13/U14/U15 Boys (birth years 2008, 2009 & 2010) - Games are 11v11 play, 1 Referee system.  Cost $165
  • U16/U17/U18/U19 Girls (birth years 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007) - Games are 11v11 play, 3 Referee system.  Cost $175
  • U16/U17/U18/U19 Boys (birth years 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007) - Games are 11v11 play, 3 Referee system.  Cost $175

2022 Fall Mini's Registration

2022 Fall Mini's (Birth Years 2018 & 2019)

The Fall Mini's program will offer 2 sessions on Monday and Tuesday evenings and 1 session on Saturday morning at Spring Valley Park:
~Monday sessions - 5:30pm to 6:15pm  OR  6:30pm to 7:15pm
~Tuesday sessions - 5:30pm to 6:15pm  OR 6:30pm to 7:15pm
~Saturday session - 9:15am to 10:00am
There is NO session on Monday, September 4th (Labor Day)

 

What are the MonU Minis?
The MonU Mini's is a program designed for children 3-4 years of age. Our professional staff teaches the basics of soccer in a fun & learning environment. We also show the parents how to help your Mini learn the beautiful game.

All sessions will be held at Spring Valley Park in Montgomery Township.

  • Monday sessions start August 29th and end on October 24th.
  • Tuesday sessions start August 30th and end on October 25th.
  • Saturday sessions start September 10th and end on October 29th.

There is NO session on Monday, September 4th (Labor Day)


What do the Mini's need to bring?

A Mini's shirt will be provided.  We do not recommend wearing soccer cleats, sneakers are fine.  We also ask that the Mini's bring a ball (Size 3) and something to drink. Parents, please be ready to get on the field as well!

2022 Roger Erb Rec Select Tournament

The 2022 Roger Erb Rec Select Tournament will be held on November 5th & 6th.  **New for 2022 - Boys will play on Saturday, November 5th, and Girls will play on Sunday, November 6th **  Rain dates are November 12th & 13th.  Please visit the Roger Erb Rec Select Tournament page for more information.
